About the Event
Join Community Nature Connection (CNC) and the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains (RCDSMM) at Akuutet Learning Nursery to learn about implementing fire-resilient landscaping and home hardening practices for your own home. We will be taking a hike throughout Elyria Canyon Park to discuss the California's ecological resiliency to wildfire and curent climate change effects on fire frequency and intensity. Lunch will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to take home a California native plant!
