Full Moon Hike

Join a naturalist on an evening hike to experience the park after dark, and to view the full moon. Limited registrations available. Rain cancels for trail safety.

What to bring: water, jacket for changing weather, closed toed shoes with good traction, skyview app will be referenced. Headlamp or flashlight to use once you return to the road after the hike.

This is a moderate, uphill hike with uneven terrain.

Directions: Hike Meets inside the park at the Lower Ranch Parking Lot near the end of Lake Dr.

From the valley:

Take Coldwater to Franklin Canyon Dr., drive past the lake and make a right at the second stop sign.

Continue until the next stop sign and a fork in the road, make a left onto Lake Dr.

Take Lake Dr until you see a large paved parking lot on your left and park.

From Beverly Hills-

Directions-Take Beverly Dr. north, near the roads end it will curve towards the uphill entrance of the park.

Take that road uphill and over until you reach a stop sign.

Make a right around the building onto Lake Dr.

Take Lake Dr until you see a large paved parking lot on your left and park.
