About the Event
Meet us at Compton Creek Natural Park under the open pavilion at 9am. There you will meet Program Coordinator Zee Zetino, they will check your temperature and you will sign-in.
The birding program will start under the open pavilion, then transition to a bird stroll around Compton Creek Natural Park. The path is mainly concrete, and occasionally transitions to a flat dirt path.
We will learn how to identify birds by using some helpful observational skills and check out what birds often visit the park. Get ready to discuss the importance of birds in our ecosystem.
Binoculars will be provided, but you are welcomed to bring your own. All skill levels welcomed.
The temperature will be warm, so please dress appropriately with layers, a hat (any sun protection), and enough water to stay hydrated.
*Please note, COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed*
When registering for this event: please make sure to add your correct email and phone number so that you can receive more details of what to expect during our program, and if we need to further contact you about any program changes.
