Join us for Lunch as we take a trip to visit Franklin Canyon Park, learn about the importance of Redwood trees and their significance in an age of climate change.

About the Event
Join us for Lunch as we take a trip from the LA State Historic Park to visit Franklin Canyon Park. We will be learning about Redwood trees, their significance and importance in an age of climate change. Once we arrive at Franklin Canyon we will start at the Sooky Goldman Nature Center and take a short 30 minute nature walk down to Heavenly Pond as we discuss the importance of Redwoods and how they may be affected by climate change. We will then take a break to have lunch down by the water's edge and then make our way back up to the Nature Center to close out the event.

What to bring: Wear closed toe shoes and bring water. Masks will be worn during this program.
Transportation and Destination Information:
The pick -up and drop off location will be the Los Angeles State Historic Park.Â

The pick-up time is 8:30-9AM and we will be returning to Los Angeles State Historic Park by 2PM.
The destination and location of the program event is Franklin Canyon Park.
