Virtual CNC Volunteer Informational- Fall 2023 Cohort

CNC Volunteer Naturalists host our nature center, provide guided interpretive nature programs for the public, facilitate environmental education programs for Schools throughout LA County and the San Fernando Valley. Volunteers inspire students to love the outdoors and (re)connect with nature, engage with the community through public programming, create virtual content, and support outdoor equity for all and help advance the Community Nature Connection mission statement.

This informational is organized to give you a better idea of what it looks like to volunteer with CNC in order to insure that this  

Volunteer candidates must meet basic requirements prior to admittance to the program and must complete training in order to gain active status. Some assignments may require additional training. Volunteer applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Bilingual applicants are highly encouraged!
