Join us for some eco friendly Art and Crafts at Heavenly Pond, located in Franklin Canyon Park! Art is often inspired by the natural world around us, but there are ways to use nature as tools to make art as well. Pressure printing and sun printing are just two ways to use organic materials to crate your very own masterpiece! Come spend some time with a few of our WODOC Naturalist to learn how to make your very own art project. Registration is encouraged but not required to attend. All ages are welcome!
What to bring & how to prepare:
- Please familiarize yourself with the following: Covid Guidelines & Wavier & Photo Release Form
- Bring a water bottle and snacks
- Weather appropriate clothing & layers if nessesary
*****Due to road damage the northern entrance to Franklin Canyon (via Coldwater Canyon) is currently closed! Please use the southern entrance (via Beverly Hills Drive) to access the park. Prior to the event please review the following Directions to Franklin Canyon Park. Once you have arrived at the park please see the Map to Heavenly Pond that will guide you to the proper locaiton from the Sooky Goldman Nature Center (2600 Franklin Canyon Drive, Beverly Hills CA, 90210) located inside of the park.
